8 Week Training Camp

The 8-week camp is designed for all levels of fitness, from veterans of the ring to people just starting their boxing journey. Brothers Jhon and Erny Matos guide participants through round-based boxing circuits and help to establish a solid foundation of boxing training techniques. Each week, participants can expect three days of work in the gym and one day of “roadwork homework”, taking users through an intensive training program mirroring how some of boxing’s greats prepare for their next big fight.

Jhon and Erny Matos join professional boxers, Errol Spence Jr., and Heather Hardy along with, six other certified professional trainers on the Everlast Fitness roster. Combined, the Matos brothers bring in over 30 years of experience in boxing,17 National Championships, and expertise in strength and weight training, cardio, HIIT, plyometrics, and more, ripe for users to unlock their greatness through the 32-day program.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 1

    Start your 8 Week journey with Jhon Matos as he takes you through shadowboxing basics. This round-based circuit consists of 5 rounds of shadowboxing, 3 minutes each round with active rests in between.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 2

    Keep up your boxing journey with Jhon Matos as he takes you through heavy bag basics. This round-based circuit consists of 5 rounds of heavy bag training, 3 minutes each round with active rests in between.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 3

    Join Jhon Matos as he takes you through a combo heavy bag and full body calisthenics workout. this round-based circuit consists of 5 rounds of heavy bag training, 3 minutes each round with active rests in between that will activate your lower body, core, and upper body.

    Join Jhon and Erny as they take you to the next level of the 8-week training camp: Roadwork Homework. Each week, you are encouraged to take on some Roadwork/Running to increase your endurance, at your own pace.

    Kickstart your 2nd week of the 8 Week training camp with Erny Matos as he takes you through a cardio kickstart featuring 5 rounds of endurance-based boxing training.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 6

    Erny Matos takes you through day 6 of your 8-week training camp with a heavy bag and kettlebell full-body workout.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 7

    Erny Matos introduces defensive techniques to your training camp routine. Take on 5 rounds of heavy bag work while activating your full body as you learn how to slip, roll, and duck along with your punches.

    Join Jhon and Erny on this week's Roadwork Homework session. Each week, you are encouraged to take on some Roadwork/Running to increase your endurance, at your own pace.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 9

    Jhon Matos reviews defensive techniques and how you can integrate them into your heavy bag training. Take on 5 rounds of heavy bag work while activating your full body as you learn how to slip, roll, and duck along with your punches.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 10

    Jhon Matos brings you 5 rounds of cardio & kettlebells. Activate your full body to build up your endurance and stamina to help you power through the late rounds of heavy bag training or sparring.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 11

    Jhon Matos steps up the training with an intense introduction to heavy bag and burpees. This full-body workout is meant to put your upper body, lower body, and core to the test with 5 high-energy rounds.

    Join Jhon and Erny on this week's Roadwork Homework session. Each week, you are encouraged to take on some Roadwork/Running to increase your endurance, at your own pace.

    Erny Matos sharpens your heavy bag training by incorporating defensive movements and techniques. Take on 5 rounds that will increase your stamina and endurance while strengthening your arms.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 14

    Erny Matos brings you a full-body workout through this multi-circuit shadowboxing & cardio workout. All you will need for this high-intensity circuit is a medicine ball, a jump rope, and a positive attitude.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 15

    Erny Matos changes the pace and takes you through an active recovery session. Throughout a training camp, it is important to push yourself but maintain a comfortable pace to not overwork your body.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 16

    Join Jhon and Erny on this week's Roadwork Homework session. Each week, you are encouraged to take on some Roadwork/Running to increase your endurance, at your own pace.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 17

    Amp up your endurance and strength training with a cardio and kettlebell shadowboxing session. Erny Matos takes you through 5 rounds of high-endurance training.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 18

    Jhon Matos showcases a heavy-bag quick-hit style training session. This is a 3 round, abridged heavy bag workout that helps you change the pace to help you fit training into your weekly regimen.

    Erny Matos showcases a cardio quick-hit style shadow boxing training session. This abridge 3 round cardio training session is something that can be incorporated to slow the pace of your training camp or can easily fit into a busy schedule.

    Join Jhon and Erny on this week's Roadwork Homework session. Each week, you are encouraged to take on some Roadwork/Running to increase your endurance, at your own pace.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 21

    Jhon Matos takes you through day 21 of the 8-week training camp with shadowboxing and medicine ball. This high-intensity, full-body strength and conditioning circuit lasts 5 rounds with active rests in between each round.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 22

    Jhon Matos brings the energy on day 22 with advanced heavy bag training with defensive movements. This high-intensity heavy bag session is designed to improve your boxing technique while building up your upper body strength.

  • 8 Week Training Camp - Day 23

    John Matos changes the pace and takes you through an active recovery session. Throughout a training camp, it is important to push yourself but maintain a comfortable pace to not overwork your body.
